About Us
Who Built It, And How We Handle Your Files.
Plain answers about who we are, what GradeTheBid does with your files, and what it never does.
The Founder
Founded By A Service-Connected Army Veteran.
Dalton Rios is a service-connected Army veteran, a business coach, and an operator. He built GradeTheBid so a small business can see what its bid is missing before the government does.
Most bids lose on a missed requirement, a blank form, or a missing signature, not on the writing. GradeTheBid finds those before you submit.
Trust
What We Do With Your Files.
Every line here comes from our Terms Of Service and Privacy Policy. The full rules are in the app's Terms Of Service, Privacy Policy, and Human Services Terms.
We Never Submit For You
GradeTheBid never submits anything to the government. You download your files and submit them yourself. The app only reads public notices and their files from SAM.gov.
Never Used To Train AI
Your files are used only to run your bid. The AI runs on Anthropic's commercial Claude API, whose terms say customer content is not used for training.
Your Files Delete Themselves
Proposals, uploaded files, and tool results delete themselves 30 days after you create them. You can delete a job and every file with it any time.
Kept In The United States
Your data is stored in a US region, encrypted in storage and in transit. AI processing is set to run in the United States.
Your Own Walled-Off Workspace
No other customer can open your jobs, files, profile, or credit history. Passwords are stored only as a salted hash, and two-factor sign-in is on the Account page.
What Not To Upload
Public solicitations and your own company information only. Never CUI, ITAR or EAR technical data, classified information, or government information from a contract you hold now.
Flat Prices, Never Tied To Winning
Every price is flat. Payments run on Stripe, and we never see your full card number. Cancel any time.
You Are The Author
You are responsible for every word, number, and certification you submit. The draft writer uses only facts from your company profile and marks anything missing.
Not Legal Advice
GradeTheBid is software, not a law firm. It is not a substitute for the advice of an attorney. For a legal question, ask a government contracts attorney.
Not Affiliated With Any Agency
GradeTheBid is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency. The solicitation in front of you always controls.
